The focus of this workshop is to review core communication skills using the Calgary-Cambridge Guide, focusing especially on skills for demonstrating empathy. The components of empathy, including reflective listening and the art of non-verbal communication were covered in Module 1 (Making Connections) and in this module we are consolidating that learning with more in-depth teaching and simulation.
Staff attending this module are encouraged to complete Modules 1 and 2 in advance of taking this workshop.
